Automation Engineer- Warren, NJ

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and contribute to the planning and execution of automation systems implementation.
Support various automation-related activities at client sites.
Serve as the Automation Project Leader for site projects, including expansions and upgrades, providing technical support throughout all project phases (design, delivery, startup, commissioning, validation) and operational support.
Develop, execute, and review Installation, Operational, and Performance Qualification protocols.
Offer Subject Matter Expertise for capital projects, covering automation system design, control system hardware, equipment design, and instrumentation startup and troubleshooting.
Evaluate and provide feedback on process and automation system designs, supporting project lifecycle activities in line with the ASTM E2500 model.
Collaborate closely with automation system service providers and support the project team.
Identify and resolve automation issues efficiently.
Offer technical support for troubleshooting, enhancing, or optimizing ongoing manufacturing, utilities, and facilities equipment and systems.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
3-5 years of relevant work experience, including design, build, test, and ongoing operations support.
Experience in a Validated/GMP/Change Management regulated environment.
Familiarity with Automated Systems such as SCADA (Archestra), PLCs (Rockwell/AB, Siemens), HMIs (Factory Talk), and Instrumentation.
Essential: Experience with DeltaV Cellmation or a similar system.
Experience creating Validation Life Cycle documentation from inception through approval to execution.
Experience creating Change Controls documentation from inception through approval to execution.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities effectively.
Experience working with Rockwell Automation (PlantPAx, ControlLogix, FactoryTalk View) in project execution and lifecycle management.
Hands-on experience with DeltaV Cellmation.
Knowledge of process, utility, and building control systems.
Manufacturing experience, including managing automation projects and leading automation system design.
Strong understanding of GMPs and good engineering practice (GEP), including GAMP, ASTM E2500, etc.
