Automation Engineer
Dallas, Texas, United States (Hybrid)We are seeking a control engineer with strong experience in the automation field, whether it be in PLC, HMI, SCADA or DCS programming/design.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, design, and implement control systems for industrial processes and automation projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and perform system integration activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of control system projects.
- Analyze system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary improvements.
- Perform system testing, validation, and commissioning activities.
- Create and maintain documentation, including technical specifications and user manuals.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in control system technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Control System Engineer, preferably in an industrial or automation environment.
- Strong knowledge of control system theory, PLC programming, and SCADA systems.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC).
- Experience with HMI development and configuration.
- Ability to design control algorithms and conduct system modeling and simulation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
